With the help of 64 service providers, our team provided much-needed support to 1,350 Afghans in Denver – 64 percent of the local, newly arriving population. We look forward to continuing our work in San Antonio from October 25 to 28 at the González Convention Center.
With the help of 37 providers, our team reached 508 Afghans in Tulsa (53% of the local, newly arriving population) and provided the support they needed. With the help of 39 providers, our team reached 355 Afghans in Oklahoma City (36% of the local, newly arriving population) and provided the support they needed. With the help of 87 providers in Seattle, our team reached 1,347 Afghans (42 percent of the local, newly arriving population) and provided the support they needed. We served an additional 200 participants from varying countries of origin. We look forward to continuing our work in Oklahoma City, September 6th – September 9th at Delta Hotels by Marriott.
With the help of 70 providers in Pittsburgh, our team was able to reach 469 Afghans (47 percent of the local, newly arriving population) and get them the support they needed. The services delivered were valuable and appreciated, as 73 percent of guests said they were very or extremely satisfied with their experience. While we cannot share every amazing story from our work, we can shine the spotlight on a handful of compassionate professionals who made a significant difference for so many families. We look forward to continuing our work at the DoubleTree, Seattle Airport, August 16 through 19.
We are so thankful for the 75+ providers in the Sacramento region who helped more than 2,200 Afghans (34% of the local, newly arriving population) get the support they needed. The services delivered were valuable and appreciated as 96% of guests said they were very or extremely satisfied with their experience. While we cannot share every amazing story from our work, we can shine the spotlight on a handful of compassionate professionals who made a huge difference for so many families.
The Tucson Afghan Support Center was a huge success, and we are excited to share a collection of inspirational stories from the three-day event. Between June 1 and 3, our providers assisted 258 Afghans – 43% of the local population. Guests reported their experiences were very favorable, with 89% saying they were very or extremely satisfied. It was incredibly powerful to see local nonprofits, businesses and organizations involved in the effort dedicated to the mission of serving immigrants on their American journey. We look forward to continuing the great momentum from our first two events while at the SAFE Credit Union Convention Center in Sacramento from June 21 to 24.
It was an incredible four days in Phoenix. We are so thankful for our providers who helped more than 700 Afghans (30% of the local population) get the support they needed. The feedback we received from our guests was overwhelming positive, with 90% saying they were extremely or very satisfied with the services provided at the support center.
