How We Work

U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) hosts Afghan Support Centers to provide Afghans with access to critical services, including in-person inquiries of USCIS staff and government partner agencies, connecting with legal service providers, public wellness and benefits, mental health resources, educational opportunities, employment, women-specific services, social services and housing resources. Each support center creates a space for a diverse network of federal, state and local resources to come together and offer support to our Afghan allies who arrived under Operation Allies Welcome.
